Capacity

Today we have been learning to measure and record the capacity of a container using litres. We poured 1 litre of water into a container and recorded whether it held more than, less than or equal to 1 litre of water.

Can you measure the capacity of containers at home using a litre bottle or jug?

We are picture book authors.

Today in computing we have started to use a paint package to try and draw our own illustrations for our book of Traditional Tales. It is very tricky because we have to press a button and move the mousepad. We also had to remember when to use fill and when to draw.

We will really need to practise retelling the stories so we know them really well.

1B are writing Little Red Riding Hood
1G are writing Goldilocks
And 1A are writing Jack and the beanstalk.
