#OnlineSafetyAtHome

In school we take online safety very serious and in each unit of computing their is an element built in. At school we have filters and monitoring software to keep children as safe as possible but even then our key message is Tell an Adult! With school being closed and pupils having more time to access the internet we still need to be mindful to keep our children safe online.

With this in mind I will be posting some excellent resources from CEOPs that are suitable to use with your children.  Please watch the film with your children and use the guide below to help keep your family safe online.

After you have watched the cartoon so good questions to ask your child are:-

  • How did lots of people end up seeing the pictures?
  • What made Mo feel sad?
  • How did the friends get help when they needed it?
  • What did Miss Humphrey say she would do to help?

Once you have finished talking about the cartoon you could always finish by watching the song again and having a sing-along!

The key message from all these videos is to always tell an adult.

If you want to find out more information please go to https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/ that have resources for children and parents and carers.
