Money, money, money!

The past two weeks year 1 have been looking at money in Numeracy. To help your child improve their coin recognition, ability to count money and make totals (e.g. 3p and 7p) let your child play with coins at home to allow them to develop their money skills.

Staying safe

We have been learning about how to stay safe in and out of school by having two special visitors. Two very nice police men came into Year 1 to help us learn about how to stay safe crossing the road, staying away from water and what to do in an emergency. Have a look at us and police man Pete!
